The switch units are housed within SF6 gas compartments, which are made of 3mm thick corrosion-resistant and non-magnetic stainless steel plates. The SF6 gas compartment is a \"sealed pressure system\" that can operate for 30 years under normal working conditions. The normal operating pressure of SF6 gas is 0.15~0.4 bar.
